Town/School Elected Positions for 2016

The following elected offices will be available for candidates to announce their candidacy for Town and School offices. Candidates may announce their candidacy between January 20th, 2016 and January 29th, 2016 with the Town Clerk. The Town Hall will be open from 3 PM to 5 PM on January 29th for this purpose. Normally Town Hall is closed on Fridays.

Town Offices

Road Agent 1 for 3 years

Town Treasurer 1 for 1 year

Selectmen 1 for 3 years

Trustee of the Trust Funds 1 for 3 years

Sewer Commissioner 1 for 3 years

Moderator 1 for 2 years

Trustee of the Cemeteries 1 for 3 years

Budget Committee 4 for 3 years

Budget Committee 1 for 2 years

Budget Committee 1 for 1 year

Library Trustee 1 for 3 years

Library Trustee 1 for 2 years

Supervisor of the Checklist 1 for 6 years

School Offices

School Board 1 for 3 years

School District Clerk 1 for 1 year

School District Moderator 1 for 1 year

School District Treasurer 1 for 1 year

Candidates for both Town and School offices must complete the necessary forms with the Town Clerk within the specified dates listed above to be placed on the ballot for the elections to be held on March 8th, 2016. Candidates or prospective candidates who have questions as to the duties of the various elected positions should contact the Town Administrator for town offices and the Superintendent of the School District for school offices.
