Note: Our current Online Vendor for Building Permits Online is closing their doors, so we are going to be going to a paper permitting system until we determine a new vendor for the service. This will mean downloading the VARIOUS PERMITS and using the list of fees and charges on the FEE SHEET that you wish to apply for and then making payment in person at the Town Clerk's Office. The Building Inspector will check each permit to make sure it is filled out correctly and the fees are correct, and will contact you if there are issues, as well as issuing your permit.
We will add an online payment system for permits soon. We apologize for any inconvenience as we work through optional vendors for online services.
The Allenstown Building/Code Enforcement Office provides services to the community for building permits, inspections, zoning and code enforcement. The staff provides support to the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Adjustments. The department maintains a file for each property with documents covering the development history of each lot in matters such as subdivisions, site plans, and building permits.
When you want to install a fence, build a new home, open a business, put on an addition or deck, install a swimming pool, work in or near a wetland area or have concerns of zoning or building regulations the Building/Code enforcement Office is the place to contact. For further information you may call (603) 485-9202 or click here to email the Building Inspector.
