Reach the Beach Relay Race

The Reach the Beach Relay Race will be traveling through Allenstown during the early morning hours of Saturday, September 19.  The segment of the race in Allenstown will travel south on Rt. 28 into Allenstown from Pembroke and travel along Deerfield Rd. There will be a rest and relay stop at the Bear Brook Beach area.  The race continues along Deerfield Rd. to Mt. Delight Rd. where it will continue up Mt. Delight Rd. into Deerfield continuing to the seacoast. 

There will be runners along the side of the roadway during the hours of darkness and into the daylight hours of the morning.  There will be considerable vehicle traffic in the area from the support teams.  Please utilize caution along Deerfield Rd. and Mt. Delight Rd. during these hours.
