Public Hearing-CDBG Senior Center

The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing in regards to applying for a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $500,000 to construct a senior center at the Whitten Street Park.  These funds will be used to construct that part of the facility being built to house for the senior center.  The other part of the building will house the Boys & Girls Club which is being funded by other grant sources. 

The public hearing will be held on Monday, December 15th, 2014 at 6pm.   The meeting will be held at the Town Hall located at 16 School St.   The board will take public comment in regards to the application. 

A second public hearing will be held to discuss the Residential Anti-Displacement and Relocation Assistance Plan which is a component of the block grant requirements.  The public hearing notice can be found on the Board of Selectmen webpage.
