Holiday Food Project celebrates its 50th year

The Capital Region Food Program's Holiday Project is quickly approaching with a fresh new look! Designed to
reduce waste and support dietary needs, CRFP will be distributing vouchers redeemable at participating Market
Basket locations. Recipients can now select the food items that work best for themselves and their families.

How to participate:

Families and individuals facing food. insecurities in one of the eligible communities
may apply for the program through one of the 36 agencies partnering with the
Capital Region Food Program for the· Holiday Project.


1) Confirm your community is eligible for participation
Participants must currently live in one of the eligible communities listed here.
2) Connect with one of our partner agencies to apply
A representative at one of the agencies listed below will help confirm your
eligibility and submit the online application for you. Applications will only be
accepted from agencies between October 27th and November 30th.
3) Pick up your voucher & shop for your exact needs
Recipients will, pick up their one-time use voucher on Saturday, December 16th at a
designated location. Use your voucher at Market Basket locations by January 31,
2024 .
