First Day of School

The first day of school in Allenstown will be on Wednesday, August 27th. Motorists are urged to watch your speed in the school zones and near bus stops. The speed limit in the school zones on Main St. and School St. is 20 mph just before school starts and just after the end of the school day.
The first couple of days of school generally result in heavy traffic congestion on Main St. as many parents will be bringing their children to school for the first day.
