A Big Thank You Goes Out to Emelia V. and Ava C. for Their Work on the Gazebo at Town Hall
The Gazebo at Allenstown Town Hall had seen better days. So much that the EDC, had discussed replacing it at some point.
Well that doesn't look necessary for quite some time because of the work of two young ladies and a little help from their family
members also.
Emelia V. and Ava C sprung into action, presenting their plan to the Board of Selectmen back in July, and
straightened, then sanded, repaired, and even redesigned the gazebo a bit just in time for the last summer concert at Town Hall's
Blueberry Express Park.
It looks amazing. At the Selectboard Meeting on August 23, 2021, the Selectmen thanked the girls
for their hard work and efforts on the project in bringing the gazebo back to life!
The project was for the two young women to get a Girl Scouts Silver Award.
They were assisted and mentored by Jeanne Hill and Bob Hill.
Also, they got some assistance from Emelia's brother Kyle.
Thanks goes out to all of you, but mostly to these two amazing young women who live in our community!
