Community Center Project

The proposed new community center project continues to develop.  The latest plans for the project can be viewed on the Parks & Recreation Commission webpage through the link on the left side of the page entitled, "Proposed New Community Center Project".  The proposal will be presented to the Planning Board on April 15th for site plan review public hearing.  See Planning Board agenda for details of time and location. 

The facility will be located at the Whitten Street Park replacing the existing structures with a larger, more efficient structure.  The new center will house the Boys & Girls Club and hopefully the Senior Citzen Center.  The Town is still awaiting approval for the last portion of the funding which would allow for the Senior Center to be included in the facility.
