The Board of Selectmen is the governing body of the Town of Allenstown. The Board is responsible for managing affairs of the Town and implementing the budget approved by the annual Town Meeting which is held in March of every year. The Board has a number of statutory responsibilities some of which include appointing persons to various positions as well as the various boards, commissions and committees.
The Board meets on Mondays except for holidays. The meeting dates are on the calendar of this website. The meetings are held at Town Hall, 16 School Street at 6:00pm.
The bi-weekly agenda is created on Wednesday afternoon the week before the meeting. Anyone wishing to be added to the agenda should contact the Town Administrator before noon on the Wednesday before the meeting.
The Board of Selectmen consists of three elected members. The positions are staggered for a three year term. The present membership of the Board is listed below.
