New Welcome to Allenstown Signs are Installed - Read about Them

Town Line Sign

The sign project is not entirely complete, and hopefully the final features of the signs will be up in the next few weeks!  Thank you to the Selectboard for approving the signs, and to the Townspeople for the appropriation to fund the project.

Press Release from Economic Development Committee

The town now has three new welcome signs installed on the major routes into town. It has been years since the previous signs were installed, and unfortunately, they were deteriorating due to years in the wind and the weather. The Highway Dept. removed the old ones and delivered them to the Allenstown Historical Society.

Picture is of the Route 28 southbound just past the bridge over the Suncook River. In the distance, below the town sign, you can see the Bear Brook State Park sign at Deerfield Rd. To the left is the Robert Frost historic plaque.  (additional pictures of signs can be found at bottom of this release.)

The other signs are located on Route 3 & 28 northbound from Hooksett and before the Granite St. traffic light, and on Route 3 southbound just before the traffic light at School St.

All signs were fabricated and installed by Prosource Signs in Derry, NH.
