Missing Man Chair Presentation (Virtual) - May 3, 2021, at 6:00PM.

On May 3rd, Allenstown residents Rich and Trish Caruso, along with members of Rolling Thunder NH1®, will be presenting a Missing Man Chair to the Town of Allenstown to keep and prominently display in the Town Hall and at town events.  The chair is meant to serve as a reminder and conversation piece regarding those who died in service and have not yet returned home from overseas.  Since WWII over 80,000 American Service Members have never returned home, and very few people are even aware of such a staggering number.  By placing missing man chairs and tables, along with POW/MIA flags in many locations we hope to raise awareness and continued action to address this issue.  The presentation of the chair will take place at the Select Board meeting at 6:00pm on May 3rd.  Those interested may participate in person or via Zoom or Facebook.  Instructions for linking to the event will be posted on the Town of Allenstown website with the Selectboard Agenda for that date.
