Community Wide Yard Sale Canceled !

I must share the news that the Town has canceled the Townwide Yard Sale for June 20th. The active cases of COVID19 are down to one in Allenstown which is good, but cities within 15 minutes of us still have 100's of cases. Having such an event is encouraging a gathering of 10 or more people, and actually a gathering where people are going from place to place. It would only take one person to go from location to location during the event to seriously spread the virus right in our community. We can't in good conscience take the chance of allowing that to happen in Allenstown. Also yard sales must also comply with the same guidelines required of retail operations. We will hold this event in the future; once we get beyond this virus emergency. Stay Safe Everyone!
