Public Hearing-Ratification of Town Meeting

The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 8th, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Town Hall, 16 School St. in regards to ratification of the 2017 Town Meeting vote. The voting session of town meeting was postponed from March 14th, 2017 until March 16th, 2017 due to a major winter storm. The provisions of HB 329 recently passed into law allows the Board of Selectmen to ratify the actions of the voters on the postponed day.
The Board will receive public input in regards to the determination as to whether to ratify those actions. A draft resolution will be available for public review through the Board agenda which will be posted on Friday, May 5th, 2017 on this website on the BOS webpage under the agenda for May 8th, 2017.
